Hey Cimarron Region!

I would like to start an RS portion to the website.   As for my first RS message I would like to announce some new awards that I will be giving out this year at the Cimarron Annual Meeting Nov. 4.  I am hoping to inspire our kids to do more this year.  I also want to make our annual meeting more than just a meeting but have an awards luncheon.  The awards will be as follows:

1) Most Improved D Member
The D member must submit an attendance record to club meetings and activities, ratings sheets, and DC or instructor's statement of improvements made.
2) Schooling Show Star
Any pony clubber attending a schooling show of any kind is eligible.  The pony clubber must send me proof of entry into the show.  (I would like to hear how they did but it is not important to win in order to receive this award - improvement counts!)  The member must also show me that they had a pony club stall card on their stall or vehicle by sending me a picture.  (Great way to advertise our pony clubs to others.)
3) USEA Star
Any pony clubber attending a recognized USEA Event is eligible.  Proof of entry and listing of finish is needed.  The pony clubber with the most entries and highest finish will win this award.  A picture of the pony clubber wearing their pinny and standing next to their pony club stall card at the show is required.
4) USDF Star
Any pony clubber attending a recognized USDF Dressage Show is eligible.  Proof of entry and finish listing is needed.  The pony clubber with the most entries and highest finish will win this award.  A picture of the pony clubber wearing their pinny and standing next to their pony club stall card at the show is required.
5) Show Jumping Star
Any pony clubber attending a recognized Show Jumping Show is eligible.  Proof of entry and finish listing is needed.  The pony clubber with the most entries and highest finish will win this award.  A picture of the pony clubber wearing their pinny and standing next to their pony club stall card at the show is required.
6) HM Star
The pony clubber with the best HM scores and most rallies attended will win.
7) The Diversified Equestrian Award
The pony clubber that participates in a variety of equestrian events will win this award.  The events may range from equestrian meetings, activities, clinics, and include pony club, 4H, or other equestrian venues.  The pony clubber must wear their pony club pin to these events to receive credit.

I really want our kids to participate in all kinds of equestrian activities this year. By using their pony club stall cards and HM skills, wearing their pony club pin at each event, they will show other equestrians how wonderful our members are.
